Students of Meriden - vote Labour to reduce tuition fees

am asking students in Meriden to vote Labour at the next general election as Labour are the only major party that will reduce university tuition fees.

Many students will of course not want to go to university, and that's why Labour has committed to greatly increasing the number of high quality apprenticeships and creating technical degrees for an equally prestigious career route for people not taking stereotypically academic subjects.

For those wanting to study at university Labour has committed to reducing university tuition fees. The Tory-Lib Dem Coalition government has upped tuition fees to £9,000 per year and many students will come out with around £40,000 to £60,000 debt. That's despite the Lib Dems promising to scrap fees altogether - they lied.

This will be paid for by reducing pension tax reliefs for the highest earners and an increase in interest rates on student debt for the highest earning graduates.

Why should students be punished with huge debts when all they are trying to do is better themselves and contribute to the economy with their new university taught skills? They shouldn't. After all, because of my financial background, the Labour government paid for nearly all of my tuition fees and for that I'm incredibly grateful.

Vote Labour for reduced fees.
