Tackling dangerous bikers in Meriden and Solihull

Residents in the Meriden Constituency, Solihull have been telling me and Labour Councillor candidate for Chelmsley Wood Emma Chidler about people riding around dangerously on the streets and pavements on scrambler bikes, almost knocking children down. 

This has been a problem all over the north of the constituency including Kingshurst, Smiths Wood and Chelmsley Wood. It is dangerous, it is causing local people serious distress and it needs to stop.

As Labour's Parliamentary Candidate for Meriden and with Emma standing for Councillor in Chelmsley Wood, we went straight to the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson to ask him to help local police crack down on this problem.

David said that he applauds our efforts and will now work with local police to see this appalling behaviour stop.
